Tool Kit: MPE Text Alerts

I’ve alluded to this in some of our early posts, but here’s a bit more detail on our text alerts system.  The product is based on two main tenets:
              1.   Reviewing reports and dissecting numbers can generally be a tedious task.  For a number of reports generated by practice management systems, consultants, DPMs, etc., you get a lot of information and have to sift through the data to get to what is meaningful.  With our text alerts, we do the sifting for you.
              2.   We live in a world filled with mobile devices.  That number is growing significantly.  Text messaging is a common, convenient form of communication.  Not only is it convenient, but it has become a favored form of communication among a lot of people.
So, rather than getting to your computer or having to find a website with reams of numbers, MPE Text Alerts tell you when there is something needs your attention and you get the information immediately wherever you are.  You can then spend more time focusing on your patients, your personal life or whatever pursuits you need time for.
Here’s how it works:

Using your data and a predetermined set of goals, MPE Text Alerts scan your information and find the most important elements related to your practice (you know those elements from our discussion on the 5 most important numbers in your practice).  When something appears to be trending negatively or falling below a present goal, we notify you while you still have time to do something about it before the end of the month or quarter.
We’ve predetermined the triggers for several alerts, but you can customize them to fit your specific practice.  For example, let’s say you want to notify your staff about a bonus when you hit 45 new contracts in a given month.  MPE Text Alerts can do that for you.
In addition to that, our alerts propose solutions to your problems via training videos, helpful posts or websites.  The bottom of the text will direct you to a link or provide contact information for follow up.
Text alerts can be sent just to you, to you and your manager, to you and your entire staff, just to certain staff members or whatever.  If they can receive text messages, we’ll send them.
That all being said, because MPE Text Alerts scans your data, we will need access to your data.  We do not use your information for anything else other than this service and no one will utilize your information for any other purpose other than what we have stated here.  Accessing the data will require a bit of technical work to get set up (we would need access information from you and then we would take care of the technical side), but once that happens, we can fire the engine up and get rolling.
At the current time, MPE Text Alerts are offered free of charge other than the standard messaging rates that might apply from your phone service provider.
